- .qbb – This is the file you create when you do your backup. I suggest you backup both locally and online on a site like Mozy or Carbonite. In your backup options, check add date and time so that you can easily tell the most recent backup. I suggest a small external drive, not a cd (they can get glitchy), that you can physically store somewhere else. Doesn’t hurt to try restoring a .qbb file now and again to confirm the data integrity, but restoring a .qbb file is going to want to overwrite the original .qbw file. If you don’t want to overwrite that file, restore to a different location or with a different name. You can easily lose your most recent work if you ignore this!
